The stage is set to come alive with the enchanting and gravity-defying performances of the annual Discover Circus School Showcase, themed “Tales of the Earth.”

This eagerly anticipated event promises to captivate audiences on May 4-5 at the historic Capitol Theatre in Nelson.

As the curtains rise, spectators will embark on a journey through the mystical and awe-inspiring realms of the natural world, brought to life through the artistry and skill of talented circus performers. From the depths of the oceans to the peaks of towering mountains, each act will weave together a narrative celebrating the beauty and wonder of our planet.

Featuring a diverse range of acts including acrobatics, aerial silk, juggling and more, the showcase will highlight the culmination of months of hard work and dedication by students of Discover Circus School. Under the guidance of talented instructors, these performers have honed their craft to deliver breathtaking displays of agility, strength, and grace.

“We are thrilled to invite the community to join us for this year’s showcase,” says Jake The Lady, director of Discover Circus School.

“Tales of the Earth is not just a performance, but a celebration of our connection to the natural world and the boundless possibilities of human expression.”
